Join us on September 10 from 11:30am-1:00pm at Chateau Bellevue [708 San Antonio St.] as we visit with Tucker Ferguson, P.E. District Engineer for TxDOT's Austin District.

About Tucker Ferguson, P.E.

Tucker is the district engineer for the Austin District of the Texas Department of Transportation.

Appointed Austin District Engineer in 2019, Ferguson is responsible for the management, direction and administration of all planning, design, construction and maintenance, and operations programs for nearly 9,500 miles in the 11-county region of central Texas, including the District’s $10 billion portfolio and the multi-billion-dollar reconstruction of I-35.  

Prior to leading the Austin District, Ferguson served as the Beaumont District Engineer from 2011 to 2019, and prior to joining TxDOT in 2011, Ferguson enjoyed a 22-year career with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation in a variety of roles, including serving as the district engineer in the Harrisburg and Allentown districts, as well as statewide director roles for Construction and Materials, and Maintenance and Operations.
