Please be advised that in order to get CE Credit you must have your video on during the entire presentation for monitoring.

This course provides students with an understanding of the important issues and clauses common to all commercial sales contracts. It then focuses on the Commercial sales contracts provided by TAR for Improved and Unimproved property transactions, with related forms and addenda. Students are reminded of the requirement to use TREC promulgated forms for one-to-four family, Farm and Ranch, and residential condo sales, as well as the dangers of practicing law without a license.             

Instructor:

Jim Parr had a thirty-five-year career in commercial real estate brokerage, primarily in the Fort Worth and Tarrant County area. He now focuses on teaching and has written two classes approved by TREC for discretionary C. E. credit, including “Commercial Sales Contracts 101”.  He also offers a variety of classes through the Continuing Education Department at Texas Christian University.  He has served as an instructor for Texas REALTORS, Greater Fort Worth Association of Realtors, Houston Association of Realtors, The Real Estate Center at Texas A&M and Texas Title University. Jim has received numerous awards and recognitions from Realtor groups, including the prestigious Charles D. Tandy Commercial Realtor of the Year award from the Society of Commercial Realtors.
