Roland Love, Vice President, Attorney, Independence Title
Roland Love is a Vice-President with Independence Title Company, a Texas-based company licensed in more than 40 Texas counties. He is Board Certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in Commercial, Farm and Ranch, and Residential Real Estate Law, and is a vital part if Independence Title's education outreach.
Roland is a previous chair of the Real Estate Probate and Trust Law Section and a member of the Title Examination Standards Board and the Real Estate Forms Manual Committee. He has chaired the Texas Land Title Institute for over 20 years and is a frequent speaker at Texas Continuing Legal Education (CLE) seminars. He is also a fellow in the American College of Real Estate Lawyers.
Roland has been active in CLE and drafting legislation for consideration by the Texas legislature for almost four decades. He is a recipient of the State Bar Award for Lifetime Achievement in Real Estate and the Texas Bar College Patrick A. Nester Award for Outstanding Achievement in CLE. He has also been awarded the State Bar CLE Best Speaker, Best Paper, and Weatherbie Workhorse Awards. The Texas Land Title Association has awarded Roland the Outstanding Title Lawyer of the Year and the President's Award. He is active in his community, including working with the YMCA, United Way, and youth soccer.
