Amy Wanamaker, Director of Real Estate for the University of Texas will be our guest speaker and will share information on all things real estate from the school.

Please note we are meeting at a new venue in 2024! We are excited to be at the Cambria Uptown located at 13205 Burnet Road which offers plenty of parking and upscale venue.  

PRESENTER BIO:

Amy Wanamaker is the Director of The University of Texas at Austin’s Campus Real Estate Office.  She manages a diverse portfolio of real estate assets for the university.  

Her projects at UT include the development of 2400 Nueces – originally a ground lease to Greystar - who built a 16-story, 622 bed, student housing project and which UT purchased, projects within Dell Medical District (created in 2013) including a long term ground lease with Central Health and sublease to Seton/Ascension for the UT Dell Medical Center at The University of Texas at Austin, the ground lease for the Moody Center Arena, and the redevelopment agreements for a portion of the former Brackenridge Hospital site into a 16-story,  300,000 SF office building called Innovation Tower in Austin’s Innovation District and across from Dell Med.

After graduating from The University of Texas, Amy began her career in petroleum land management. This role developed into a career in commercial real estate where she has served in both the private and non-profit sectors, including those dedicated to land conservation.
