About our presenters:

Dub Taylor joined the Texas PACE Authority after 21 years as the director of the Texas State Energy Conservation Office (SECO). Under his leadership, SECO helped the state make the most of domestic energy, reduce state and local government energy costs and promote cost-effective clean energy technologies. Prior to joining SECO, Taylor’s public sector experience includes six years with the Texas Railroad Commission’s Alternative Fuels Research and Education Division. Taylor's private sector experience was focused on commercial real estate, property appraisal, and property tax consulting. He is a native of Dallas and a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin. Dub received the 2023 PACE Nation PACE Setter Award for Excellence in Program Design and Implementation.  

Andrew Miller has been in Austin since 1991 and banking & finance since 1992. He is a 5th generation Texan and 3rd Generation Banker. In 2009, he started Commercial Loan Solutions, which specialized in Loan Packaging, Loan Brokering, Business Development, and Turn Around Management. As of February 2020, he got back into banking full time. In 2023, he joined Happy State Bank. He specializes in Real Estate secured loans with a focus on Commercial & Investment Properties, especially construction loans. With his business background, he can customize loans for most borrowers. He helps create a loan product that works well for the borrower & the bank. He believes in creating a win-win solution. His goal is to provide options & solutions. As a former small business owner, he does not see obstacles….he sees opportunities. He has been told, “You think like an entrepreneur that is also a banker.” He provides loans from $1,000,000 to $250,000,000 throughout Texas. Due to his extensive tax, finance, and accounting background, he is able to put together challenging financing projects and get them approved through his loan committee.

Andrew has been married to Debbie Miller for 19+ years. She is a retired elementary teacher and now a travel agent. They have two kids, Charlie (17) and Gracie (15), and two dogs (Honey & Winnie). They love to travel and have been all over the world. His favorite places have been Istanbul, Norway, and Japan. He loves to play golf, poker, snow ski, watch movies, attend college football games, and is an avid concert goer. He has a BBA in Finance and MBA from St. Edward’s University. He sits on the board for Lake Travis Chamber of Commerce and also runs their Ambassador program. He has been involved with CTCAR for 20+ years and currently sits on the Board as CTCAR’s Treasurer.
